A. Tool material. The cutting tool material is different and the maximum cutting speed is also different. High speed steel with high temperature cutting speed is less than 50m / min, high temperature resistant tungsten carbide tool above cutting speed could up to 100M / min, the high temperature ceramic tool cutting speed can be as high as 1000 / min.
B. Workpiece material. The hardness of the workpiece material will affect the cutting speed of the tool, the cutting speed of the cutting tool with the same cutting tool needs to be reduced, and the cutting speed can be increased when the soft material is processed.
C. Tool life. In case the tool use time (life) requirements are long, it will use a lower cutting speed. On the contrary, the higher cutting speed can be used.
